QuietRecap supports eligible Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet calls on Windows 10+ and supported Linux environments. It captures audio only after you enable capture and grant the required device permissions.

Meeting platforms

QuietRecap detects and can capture eligible calls from these meeting platforms:

  • Zoom
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Google Meet

Desktop operating systems

Install QuietRecap on one of the following desktop operating systems:

  • Windows 10 or later
  • Supported Linux environments

Permissions and consent

QuietRecap needs the relevant device permissions before it can capture meeting audio. Operating systems may describe one of these permissions as screen recording even when QuietRecap uses it to obtain system audio. QuietRecap never joins a meeting as a bot.

Users remain responsible for notices and consent required for their meetings. Read the recording and consent policy for details.
